Beastly Feelings
Starting with my collection of hand-drawn creatures, we analyzed recurring visual characteristics, from color palettes, textures, and drawing techniques to expressions, personalities, and emotional qualities. These observations form the taxonomy of the custom AI model.
The tool invites the user to express their emotions through beastly shapes. It creates a new interaction between the artist and the user, where they see their own feelings reflected in the artist's emotional language.
Each monster becomes a unique generative AI artwork: an emotional portrait created from the user’s feelings, interpreted through the artist’s distinctive visual language, embodied as a one-of-a-kind creature. You see yourself in an emotional monster mirror and will be looking your own monster straight in the eye.
