Sarah Kerbosch is a multidisciplinary artist working across textiles, performance, installation, drawing and writing. Her practice grows from attention to small shifts: bodily sensations, emotional contradictions, fleeting images and moments of friction.

She builds tactile worlds populated by creatures, bodies and material forms that hold emotional states rather than represent them. These environments are not fixed narratives, but are shaped by texture and physical presence: where sensitivity and imagination can move without the need for resolution.

That which is overlooked or difficult to articulate sparks her interest: the messy, incomplete and accidental nature of experience. The parts of ourselves that do not resolve neatly into language, but remain felt, sensed, half-recognised.

Material plays an important role in this process. Texture functions as a way of thinking through the body. She works intuitively, allowing chance, failure and imperfection to shape the work.
