Guusje de Bruin and I asked ourselves: how can we use our skills in fashion design to visualize the multi-faceted concept of femininity? We interviewed people, did theoretical research and experimented with the influence of movement on shape.
With this collection of knowledge we built an exhibition with 3D design, illustration and photography, in the midst of which we performed movements created with dancers during the research, in a large textile design that fits multiple people, with the audience becoming part of the set.
Made possible by the Creative Industries Fund NL and Stroomversneller Arnhem.
Performances at Nr8 Arnhem, De Gelderlandfabriek, Culemborg and Hubert, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
